shindengen one stop

Shindengen is an overall manufacturer of power electronics that develops and produces power semiconductors, electrical products, power device products and new energy products. Chip One Stop allows you to make small-lot purchases of highly efficient and high performing power semiconductors and power device products.

QRC(quasi-resonant RCC)
The QRC method is a quasi-resonant switching power supply circuit based on RCC, which constitutes a simple isolated power supply using 1 main switch and 1 rectifier diode.
It is widely used mainly for consumer household appliances with relatively low electric power, characterized by low partscost and low cost.
Circuit configuration
Power clamper

Surge protection element for power supply snubber incorporating FRD and Zener diode in 1 package.
It is possible to reduce the number of parts from 3 point parts of DCR snubber commonly used as clamper to 1 part of power clamper.

High efficiency: While the DCR snubber is always lost, the power clamper operates only when necessary, thus improving efficiency especially at light loads.
High reliability: There is no deterioration over time against repeated surge.

Determination of clamp voltage

Example of Use

  • Ideal for auxiliary power supply with long standby time
  • Air conditioner & refrigerator standby power supply
  • STB power supply
  • Printer power supply
  • Adapter and charger

In a transformer design where 0 <α <(VQ (MAX) - VNP - Vin), VCL that satisfies VNP The closer the VCL value is to the VNP voltage, the larger the power clamper loss. Conversely, the closer it is to the (VQ (MAX) × β - Vin) voltage, the smaller the loss.
