Intel and Netcope P4
Intel
P4 is a new, domain-specific programming language for controlling packet forwarding planes in networking devices such as routers and switches. The new, cloud-based Netcope P4 Development Environment allows network software vendors, telco equipment manufacturers, service providers, and cloud operators to quickly and easily develop, optimize, and deploy new network solutions based on the Intel® FPGA PAC N3000 accelerator card.
Netcope now offers its P4 compiler as a service in the cloud to make 5G networking development easier for everyone. The service allows many types of developers to create designs that take advantage of the acceleration capabilities of the Intel FPGA PAC N3000 card.
