0402AQC Chip Inductor Series with High Q

FASTRON announces the release of its 0402AQC wire wound chip inductor series.


Compared with standard ceramic-core chip inductors of size 0402, the 0402AQC series offers higher Q, have less DCR and a higher rated DC current. Enamelled copper-wire provides lowest coil-resistance, high Q-factor up to 32 @ 250MHz and high current capacity up to 3.0A. A silver-palladium-platinum metallisation of the terminals leads to excellent lead-free reflow-soldering results.


An epoxy-cap enables automated pick and place operation. The 0402AQC-series includes 97 inductance values from 0.9nH to 51nH with L-Tolerances of ±20%, ±10% and ±5%. Upon request improved tolerances of ± 5% and ±3% are available. The operating temperature range is from -40 up to +150°C including self-heating of the component.


Major applications for 0402AQC series are in oscillating circuits and signal filtering. For best performance in HF-applications the series is available as single-layer up to 6.5nH.
 

The component is approved for automotive applications according AEC-Q200. The 0402AQC is available in tape & reel package with quantities of 1000 pcs (option -08) and 5000 pcs  (option -01) on a reel. As with all FASTRON components, the 0402AQC is suitable for lead-free soldering and is RoHS compliant.
