RIVERSIDE, Calif., August 27, 2024 - Bourns, Inc., a leading manufacturer and supplier of electronic components for power, protection, and sensing solutions, today announced the release of its Riedon™ Class-T and ANL modular fuse blocks. The new devices are designed to address the protection needs in a broad range of applications that include industrial power systems, battery chargers, solar inverters, and battery storage systems.
A total of four fuse block product types are now available from Bourns. The product types consist of the Model FB and CFB Series, which are Class-T fuse blocks that come provisioned with a Class-T fuse selectable up to 400 A, and offer two termination options including bare wire and ring/spade connections. The other two types are the ANL fuse block Model NFB Series and the NFB2 Series that are offered in two mounting base lengths with ring/spade connectivity and can be ordered with ANL fuses from 50 A to 500 A.
These are the first Riedon™ fuse blocks to be released by Bourns. Offering flexibility and modularity to adapt to a wide range of applications, the Model FB and CFB Class-T Series fuse blocks are constructed of high-quality materials, including tinned brass terminals, fiberglass reinforced polycarbonate mounting bases, clear polycarbonate safety covers and stainless steel mounting hardware. Specifically, the compact 3.4-inch Model NFB Series fuse block features a base constructed of heavy duty phenolic where the Model NFB2 Series is 6.5 inches in length with a fiberglass-filled polycarbonate base. Furthermore, both the Model NFB and NFB2 Series ANL fuse blocks have a clear polycarbonate safety cover and stainless-steel connection and mounting hardware that provides additional product durability and operational life.
