The CC EAL 6+ certification brings chip security evaluation to a new level thanks to the requirement of formal proof of security policy. The evaluation adds rigorous mathematical testing of the entire security architecture to resistance against various invasive, semi-invasive and non-invasive attacks. Additionally, the SmartMX2 has a high-performance CPU with enhanced 8 to 32-bit application instruction set as well as power-efficient, high-speed crypto coprocessors for RSA/ECC and DES/AES.
