The MD series is a power IC for non-isolated DC-DC converters. By combining the principal components into one package, it resolves the hassles of designing power cuircuts.
Features & High efficiency
The control IC and the MOSFET of the main switch are matched, and by combining them into 1 package, it is easy to realize a high efficiency power supply with less switching loss and wiring loss.
Various protection functions built-in: Various protection functions such as overcurrent protection, overheating protection and low input voltage protection (UVLO) have been built-in.

The MD5021T/MD5031T are power Ics for non-isolated stepdown DC-DC converters which have combined a contral IC and high-side MOSFET into 1 chip.
By adopting a surface mount type SOP8 package, the circuit configuration is possible with very few external components.
By doing this, it is possible to achieve miniaturization and thinning as a power supply.
