Talking-Pen
This solution reads codes printed on paper and plays the corresponding sound. Using the industry's smallest low-power RL78/G14 microcontroller, the ID decoder and image sensor play the sound file corresponding to the read content. The sound data can be saved from a PC to a micro SD card via USB cable using the ISL80505, a single output low dropout voltage regulator (LDO) capable of delivering up to 500 mA output current from an input voltage of 1.8 V to 6 V. Battery charge control is provided by the ISL6294.
