Selection procedure

1 Determination of peak reverse voltage VRM: It is determined from circuit voltage (peak value of voltage value applied at steady state).
2 Determination of VBR: Determined from surge voltage magnitude and surge impedance.
3 Clamping voltage VCL: Determined from the withstand voltage of the circuit to be protected.
